Last weekend we saw some amazing footvolley when the first ever EFVL World Challenge was held in Graz, Austria. Teams from all around the world gathered at the beautiful and historical Freiheits Platz to find out who are the best teams in the world.

February 10, 2022 is a historical date for footvolley in Europe. We welcome the Russian Footvolley League (RFVL) into our family. Russia is the 16th nation to join our continental federation. RFVL’s development, level of national competition and international organizational skills have grown exponentially in the past 5 years.

Women’s footvolley is growing fast in Europe and this season there’s been 21 different players from 8 nations playing 55 games. A lot has happened in just a few years. Netherlands and Italy has had their share of good players for many years, but out of nowhere come two twin sisters from Norway and they end up winning all four tournaments of the European Footvolley League 2019.
