France and Portugal have been in the European Footvolley Championship (EFC) finals all three times since it started in 2016, and this year was no exception. However, this year France took the title with a new team - Antoine Ottaviani and Lucien "Lulu" Alessandri. In Graz they proved to be the strongest team.

Footvolley Austria invited to a press conference on wednesday May 30th to talk about the upcoming European Footvolley Championship (EFC) to be hosted in downtown Graz. The official draw also took place to decide the groups for the mens and womens main tournament - in addition to the mens qualification tournament.
Following the inclusion of Sweden a couple of weeks ago we are happy to announce Israel as a new member of the European Footvolley League. Israel becomes the 15th member after a unanimous vote from the member nations.

On April 4th 2016 rumours began about footvolley being included as a demo sport in the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. These rumours have of course provoked a lot of excitement and talk in the footvolley community.
