Teams for mens qualification tournament

16 spots are up for grab in the main tournament and with 13 member nations (as of 2017) and two extra teams from host nation and reigning champion Portugal, there is one spot up for grab in the qualification tournament.

New members of the European Footvolley League in 2018 is Sweden and Israel and they are awarded one spot each in the qualification tournament. All the other member nations are allowed to send one extra team to participate in the qualification tournament.
