On 27-28 May the second qualification event of the EFVL Tour 2023 takes place in Graz, Austria. This is a unique qualification tournament for women only.

Tournament rules and structure

The tournament will follow the official footvolley rules for the EFVL and a classic tournament structure for 8-12 teams (women).

  • Female competition: 2 groups (4 teams each). Best team of each group advances to the semi-final. 2nd and 3rd of each group play in the quarter final.

  • Ranking points of an EFVL Open 500 format:
    #1 500 pts
    #2 400 pts
    #3 350 pts
    #4 300 pts
    #5-8 250 pts
    #9-12 175 pts

  • If there are 2 teams of the same country, only the highest ranked team receives ranking points.

  • Groups: 1 set to 18. Finals: Best of 3 (18/18/15). No killer points

  • Group tie breakers. The following rules apply if there are tiebreakers between one or more teams after the group stage is finished.

    1. Match Wins
      Rank by number of wins.

    2. Direct Match-Up between Teams
      This tie breaker looks at the match record between tied participants. If two or more teams are equal the team that won the group game they played against each other will rank ahead.

    3. Points difference between tied teams in a group
      Total points scored minus total points given up. Points difference applies only between the teams involved in the tie breaker.

    4. Points difference between all teams in a group
      Total points scored minus total points given up. Points difference applies to all the teams in the group.

    5. Draw
      In the event of still being equal there will be a draw conducted by the tournament administration.
