The Federação Nacional de Futevólei – FNFV and TAFC International, in partnership, are pleased to invite the first-ranked men’s team and/or women’s team from [COUNTRY NAME] to participate in the Footvolley World Tour 2026 – Albufeira, Portugal, to be held from 10 to 12 July 2026 in Albufeira, Portugal, at Praia dos Pescadores.

Competition
The Footvolley World Tour 2026 – Albufeira, Portugal is an international 2x2 footvolley competition played by countries.
Competition Dates
10 July 2026 – Qualifying Tournament (open to all eligible teams)
11 and 12 July 2026 – Main Event / Competition
Competition System
Main Event
The Main Event will be played in a double-elimination format (a team is eliminated after its second defeat).
Main Event matches will be played in 1 set to 18 points
Semi-finals and final will be played in best of 3 sets (18 / 18 / 15)
The 3rd set will be played to 15 points
The 3rd and 4th place match will be played in 1 set to 15 points
Qualifying Tournament
The Qualifying Tournament will also be played in a double-elimination format (a team is eliminated after its second defeat).
Qualifying matches will be played in 1 set to 18 points
The final qualifying matches for the Main Event will be played in best of 3 sets (18 / 18 / 15)
Event Structure
The competition will be held on 2 courts:
1 main stadium court
1 secondary court
In addition, there may be 1 to 2 extra courts for training camp and/or warm-up.
Eligibility and Country Representation
The competition is played by countries. In order for a team to represent a country in this event:
one of the athletes must have the nationality of that country
the second athlete, even if not holding that nationality, must currently reside in that country and must have been living there for at least 2 years
the second athlete must also have competed in that country’s national footvolley championships during the last 2 years
The relevant national federation shall be responsible for validating that the athletes are eligible to represent their country in accordance with the rules of the event.
MEN’S EVENT
Main Event – Men
A total of 16 men’s teams will participate in the Men’s Main Event, as follows:
Brazil – 2 teams (#1 World Ranking Nation)
Portugal – 2 teams (host country)
EFVL – 6 teams (#1 team of each country according to the EFVL ranking)
Qualifying – 4 teams from the Qualifying Tournament
Prize Money – Men
With the support of TAFC International:
1st place – EUR 4,000
2nd place – EUR 2,000
3rd place – EUR 1,000
4th place – EUR 700
Total Men’s Prize Money: EUR 7,700
WOMEN’S EVENT
Main Event – Women
A total of 12 women’s teams will participate in the Women’s Main Event, as follows:
Brazil – 2 teams (#1 World Ranking Nation)
Portugal – 2 teams (host country)
EFVL – 4 teams (#1 team of each country according to the EFVL ranking)
Qualifying – 4 teams from the Qualifying Tournament

2nd place – EUR 900

Transfers
For transfers from Faro Airport to Albufeira, we recommend the use of Uber, with an approximate transfer time of 35 minutes.
Transfers are the responsibility of each team/delegation. The related costs are considered within the symbolic financial support granted to each team qualified for the Main Event.
Competition Clothing
For the Main Event, the official competition shirts and shorts will be provided by the organisation.
For the Qualifying Tournament, competition clothing shall be the responsibility of each team. Both players of each team must use matching competition format and colours.
The Qualifying registration fee includes the official event shirt.
REGISTRATION
To participate in the event, all interested teams must submit their official registration until 27 June 2026, through the following official form:

* In the registration form, each team must indicate whether it is applying for the Main Competition or for the Qualifying Tournament.
* Registration for the Main Event is intended for national federations wishing to register their top-ranked national men’s team and/or women’s team.
* Registration for the Qualifying Tournament is intended for the remaining eligible teams that wish to compete for a place in the Main Event.
The Qualifying Tournament has a maximum limit of:
16 men’s teams
12 women’s teams
The registration fee for the Qualifying Tournament is EUR 50 per team, to be paid before the start of the event at the event secretariat.
Teams that qualify from the Qualifying Tournament to the Main Event will then have the same conditions as the other teams in the Main Event, including:

travel support
After the organization confirms the participating teams, each team/country will have 3 days to send the travel confirmation and final participation details.
The organization reserves the right to confirm the final list of participating teams.
